Terms and Conditions

Our Terms and Conditions mentioned in our company are legal contracts between you and Mount Glory for your services. Please read our terms and conditions carefully before booking a trip with us as these terms and conditions are effective from the date you booked the trip with us.

Booking Conditions

For Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, and India a copy of your passport and a 20% deposit of the total cost of the trip should be provided during booking. The 20% deposit is not refundable once you have made the down payment. This deposit will be considered a cancellation fee after booking with us. The remaining amount can be provided after arrival in Kathmandu.

Note: In the case of Bhutan, Tibet, and India tours you need to pay a total amount of 30 days prior to your departure.

Last Minute Booking

For Nepal, you can book 10 days before your departure only if we have available space, and then full payment is required.

For Bhutan, India, and Tibet we accept your last-minute booking 30 days before departure then, full payment is required.

Credit Card Payment

We accept Visa, Master Card, and American Express cards. A 3.5% levy will be added as a card processing fee. We are not responsible for the 3.5% bank transaction fee which is not included in the total cost of the trip.

Cancellation And Refund Policy:

You should provide valid notice by email before 20 days of the departure date. Cancellation is valid with approval only after receiving the notice.

20% of the total amount would be deducted from the advance paid and the remaining will be refunded.

For the cancellation with less than 20 days' notice before the departure there will be no refund. If you cancel the trip and submit the claim to your insurance company we can help with supporting documents such as receive and money paid.

Reschedule The Trip

You should write us including the notice that makes you unable to travel via email 20 days before the trip departure date. If you are preponing you should notify us 20 days before your new departure date.

If you are postponing your trip you should write us 30 days before your departure.

A fee of 100 USD per person will be charged if you prepone, postpone, or transfer to another person in not less than 30 days from the departure date. The client is responsible for finding another person to transfer the trip.

Incomplete Trip

In case of any failure to complete the trip by a different region the client, we have not refunded for meals, accommodation, and services used during the trip. If you commit an unlawful act during the trip and are compelled to leave Nepal, we are not refunding.

Passport And Visas

A 6-month validity date passport is needed from the return date.

A Nepalese visa can be obtained from the Nepalese consulate of your country or arrival at Kathmandu Airport for an On Arrival Visa.

The cost of the visa is your sole responsibility.

Travel Insurance

Your travel insurance is compulsory while traveling with us. The insurance should cover weather delays, personal injury, death, medical expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, trip cancellation, natural disasters, loss of gear and equipment, and theft.

Risk and Liabilities

The tour is conducted by following the rules and regulations of the tourism board of the respective country. Mount Glory is not responsible for the change in itineraries for unseen circumstances which are beyond our control. A last-minute change in government rules, local politics, restrictions,ill-health conditions, Death, Natural disaster, and Flight delay is beyond our control. Any expenses from such events will be borne by the clients. Further, we recommended your travel Insurance.

Flight Delay/Cancellation

Due to bad weather, there may be flight delays in the mountains. We are not responsible for extra expenses and inconveniences. As the weather of mountains is unpredictable. We recommended you for extra time in the Everest season so, you won't miss your international flight. If you feel like having a private flight we can manage helicopters upon your request so, we recommended you have some extra cash to prepare for the unseen circumstances.

Health And Fitness

We recommended your physical and mental fitness while trekking in the mountains. You need to have a walking experience of 3-4 hours per day before trekking to the mountains. Please notify us about your medical condition and disabilities at the time of booking.

Children

Guardians/Parents must participate with children below 16 Years.

Privacy

We are highly concerned to protect your privacy and personal information. We will not disclose the privacy that you provided during booking for other any purpose.

Publicity

Mount Glory may use your images during the trip with your agreement only.

Complaints

Your satisfaction is our top priority so, you should have complaints about the trip to make our staff know about it so, that appropriate action can be taken to resolve it in time.

Acceptance of Terms

These terms and conditions are valid if you choose us to book it directly. If you book your trip through a third party or any agent you are liable for their terms and conditions as well.

Applicable Law and Choice of Forum

These terms and conditions of Mount Glory are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute in these terms and conditions shall be resolved exclusively by the court of Nepal. There is no case in a foreign country. the parties agree that Nepali Court is the appropriate forum for any complaint or proceeding commenced in relation to these terms and conditions of Mount Glory Treks And Expedition Pvt. Ltd.
